Different types of USB chargers ?

Modified on Wed, 17 Jan at 4:48 PM

There are currently two main types of USB chargers that you can use, USB A and USB C.

USB A is the older rectangle port which would be used for older devices and the plug end can only be inserted one way.  This style of USB port is slowly going to be phased out for the more powerful and compatible USB C ports.

USB C is the newer reversible design outlet which is faster, more powerful and also has a greater compatibility. These are the more popular style of USB ports in new electrical devices.
